Southwest Pride Barbershop Chorus

Enjoy songs past as Southwest Pride celebrates their 50th show. You can catch the two day event at the Simmons Center in Duncan on Friday, March 1 and at the McMahon Auditorium in Lawton on Saturday, March 2, 2013. Both shows start at 7:30 p.m.

As the story unfolds, a chorus of old men try to think of different ways to commemorate their 50th show. This proves to be more challenging than any of them can imagine, since many of the men can barely remember what they are talking about.

While pondering the theme of their show, many stories and songs of days past are shared between the friends and their story begins to unfold. With all their hard work the group finally realizes that the best songs to use for their show are the songs they have been singing all along. Songs from yesteryear become the foundation of their show.

Tickets in advance are $12 for adults, $8 for 18 and under. Tickets at the door are are $14 for adults, $10 for 18 and under. Tickets available at Scott’s House of Flowers, Sheridan Road Veterinary Clinic and R&S Health Mart Pharmacies.
